Safe houses, emergency placement and protection for survivors of violence, trafficking and displacement.
Learn MoreAt SHE4HER Africa Foundation, we recognize that lasting transformation requires more than a single intervention. Our programs work together to provide holistic support that addresses the social, economic, educational, and health-related challenges facing vulnerable women and girls. By combining Shelter & Protection, Health & Wellness, Education & Skills Training, Legal and Economic Empowerment, we help women move from crisis to stability, from dependence to self-sufficiency, and from vulnerability to opportunity.

2026
Founded in Ghana — now reaching women across the continent.
SHE4HER Africa Foundation was established in response to the urgent and growing challenges faced by vulnerable women and girls, especially in Africa. Every day, countless women and girls experience homelessness, gender-based violence, poverty, unemployment, limited access to healthcare, and systemic barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential. These realities inspired the creation of a foundation dedicated to providing hope, protection, and opportunities for those most in need.
Founded on the belief that every woman and girl deserves to live with dignity, safety, and purpose, SHE4HER Africa Foundation serves as a catalyst for empowerment and sustainable change. We recognize that vulnerability is often the result of complex social and economic factors and therefore requires holistic solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term development.

Shelter houses, emergency placement and protection for survivors of violence, trafficking and displacement.
When a woman or girl has nowhere safe to turn, our shelter programme is the first step toward a new beginning. We provide immediate, secure accommodation, basic necessities, and a protective environment where survivors of abuse, trafficking and displacement can stabilise without fear.
Beyond a roof, each resident receives a personalised care plan — safety planning, counselling referrals, and a clear pathway toward healing, training and independence. Our goal is not just to shelter, but to restore dignity and rebuild lives.
Primary, reproductive and mental health services — meeting women where they are with compassionate care.
Good health is the foundation of every other opportunity. Our health and wellness programme delivers primary care, reproductive and maternal health services, and trauma-informed mental health support to women and girls who too often go without.
Through partnerships with local clinics and trained community health workers, we meet women where they are — removing the cost, distance and stigma that keep them from the care they deserve.
Literacy, digital skills and vocational training that turn potential into livelihoods.
Education breaks the cycle of poverty for good. We offer literacy classes, digital-skills training and hands-on vocational programmes that equip women and girls with marketable, income-generating skills.
From tailoring and catering to computer literacy and entrepreneurship, every course is designed to lead somewhere real — a job, a business, or a return to formal education with confidence.
Seed grants, savings groups and enterprise support so women build income they own.
Financial independence is what makes freedom last. Our economic empowerment programme provides seed grants, savings and loan groups, financial-literacy training and ongoing mentorship so women can launch and grow businesses of their own.
When a woman earns and controls her own income, her children eat, learn and thrive — and entire communities rise with her.
Rights education, legal aid and advocacy that help women claim justice and protection.
Knowing your rights is the first defence against abuse and exploitation. Our legal empowerment programme delivers rights education, accessible legal aid and advocacy for women navigating violence, property disputes, custody and discrimination.
[EDIT ME] We stand beside women through every step of the justice process — and push for the systemic change that protects the next generation of girls.
